In Naruto series, hidden villages are parts of countries in which the country’s ninja reside. A Hidden Village maintains its economy by training its citizens to be ninja from a young age and using them as manpower in various missions others would be willing to pay for. There are many hidden villages in the series, however, the biggest and the most influential are only five. These are Konohagakure, Sunagakure, Kirigakure, Kumogakure and Iwagakure. All of these 5 most influential and strongest villages have a leader which is called a Kage. A Kage oversees the activities of their village, from sending ninja on missions to making the hard decisions regarding the safety of their people. A village’s Kage is generally acknowledged as its most powerful ninja. So today we will count down, the strongest Kage from each of the five villages.

As Shukaku’s jinchūriki, Gaara is able to manipulate sand.
3. ‘Mu’ – 2nd Tsuchikage
Mū was the Second Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. As the Second Tsuchikage, Mū was an immensely powerful shinobi, such that he was able to kill the Second Mizukage. Mū was able to split himself into two duplicates to help escape a lethal blow. Mū was one of the few shinobi in history who could wield all five elemental nature transformations. He possesses the Dust Release, which allows him to combine fire, earth, and wind natures to reduce his opponents to nothing more than mere dust, destroying them down to even a molecular level.

1. ‘Naruto Uzumaki’ – 7th Hokage
Naruto Uzumaki is the 7th Hokage of Konohagakure. Naruto’s natural affinity is Wind Release. Using shadow clones, he couple the complete difficult task of adding his elemental nature to the Rasengan, something no one, including his father, had been able to succeed at. After gaining the Six Paths Senjutsu, Naruto can utilise all five nature transformations, as well as Yin–Yang Release. He could make perfect use of the latter to revitalise life-forces, heal whomever he touches, and restore missing organs. After gaining chakra from the respective tailed beasts, Naruto can also use Shukaku’s Magnet Release, Son Gokū’s Lava Release, and Kokuō’s Boil Release. While mainly relying on Wind Release as a genin, as Hokage, Naruto expanded his fighting style to include Earth Release, which he utilises in the form of sturdy earth walls.
